Runway announces Solaris, an interface world model that generates interactive UIs frame-by-frame in real time without code.

Runway News | Introducing Solaris

Introducing Solaris Solaris is Runway’s first Interface World Model: real-time AI that generates interactive interfaces frame by frame, with no code.

We built Solaris to rethink what user interfaces can be. Instead of hand-coding every interaction and visual state, Solaris models an interface as a dynamic world. It predicts and renders UI frames conditioned on user inputs, allowing designers and creators to prototype and iterate live experiences without writing code.

Key capabilities

  • Frame-by-frame generation: Solaris renders full interface frames in real time.
  • Interactive conditioning: the model responds to user actions and input to produce coherent state transitions.
  • No-code prototyping: creators can design and test interactive flows without engineering.

Potential applications range from rapid prototyping and product demos to accessibility overlays and AI-driven personalization. By treating interfaces as generative worlds, Solaris aims to accelerate design iteration and unlock new forms of human-computer interaction.
