So new institutions was a major cultural theme of the last decade, as well as a through line for much of Other Internet research. We think about it as a shift in power structures caused in large part by internet technologies as a cultural and infrastructural force. So the three of us — Laura, Toby and Sam — wanted to have a broader discussion around this topic with two experts that I'm very happy to welcome: Trent van Epps and Christopher Goes. I've been in the Ethereum community for a long time and over the past few years, I've been fortunate to work with the Ethereum Foundation on a whole number of projects, mainly centered around core Ethereum development, the core protocol itself. And as part of that work, I've helped to bootstrap Protocol Guild, which is the leading independent funding institution for core Ethereum developers. We work on funding and ensuring that they have sustainable support for years into the future.
