    Getty Images has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Delaware to advance a restructuring plan aimed at taking the company private following its failed merger with Shutterstock. Backed by up to $533 million in new equity from the Getty family and Koch Equity Development, the company expects to complete the reorganization by the end of the year. Normal operations will continue unaffected throughout the bankruptcy process.
